This 10” clock is made from 2 consecutive dark brown/grey striated slices from the same stone. Rather than book matching (mirroring) the slabs, they are positioned to create a Yin Yang shape swimming in beautifully figured black and silver epoxy resin. A pure copper wire bonsai tree creates a sense of asymmetry in this otherwise perfectly balanced clock, with a smaller branch coming down from the top left and copper, custom “flame” clock hands and copper roman numerals standing out starkly with a blue/green patina.
