At 6.75” wide by 10” tall, this unique natural edge clock is made from three slices from the same stone with black, mica swirled epoxy between each stone, influenced by epoxy river tables. The stones are beautiful sandy-light pink with swirling patterns. The two larger slices are bookmatched. Bookmatching is a technique used in woodworking and stonework where two or more pieces are cut from the same, in this case, stone and arranged to create a symmetrical, mirror-like pattern. Imagine a stone being cut in half and then opened like a book. A smaller sliver of the same stone fills in the right side.

Custom Godwood "flame" shaped copper hands and a solid copper wire tree with exposed roots are centered on the clock with a natural green/blue patina.
