This 8.5” wide by 11.5” tall bookmatched, heart shaped clock is elegant in its simplicity. Bookmatching is a technique used in woodworking and stonework where two or more pieces are cut from the same, in this case, stone and arranged to create a symmetrical, mirror-like pattern.  Imagine a stone being cut in half and then opened like a book. In other words, this is another Rorschach clock!

Centered at the top is a baren solid copper wire bonsai tree with blue/green patina up the trunk with shiny branches. Finishing this off are blackened walnut clock hands.
