I’ve made a handful of clocks with this stone and in every case, the stone polished up beautifully. I particularly love the darker grey streak that runs at a diagonal through the bottom and how it catches both the 6 and the 9 diamond stylized numbers. The rest of this stone is a light grey speckled with lighter and darker patterns. This clock features a stainless steel baren bonsai tree erupts out of the top. Custom Godwood “2 moons” clock hands and stylized diamond shaped numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 in black create some contrast with this 8” wide by 12.5” tall piece of art.
