I have a soft spot for this clock. It was the first where I created a crescent shape by placing another stone on top of the first. In this case, two “jacket cut” (the outside rounded slab of a stone) slices fitted flat side against flat side, are aligned to create the crescent moon shape out of the light quartz stone to the left. A pretty green speckled stone sits to the right where to offset clock rests. A solid copper wire tree branch, blackened with liver of sulfur, wanders from the right to be silhouetted by the moon. Natural walnut clock hands finish this clock up with the final dimensions at 9” wide by 6” tall, this clock is a classic beauty.
