The largely grey dappled granite stone with a band of orange iron and a streak of darker grey at the bottom plays nicely with the black epoxy, which rounds out this stone into a 7.25” round clock, (10.5” x 11.25” including the tree). Embedded into the epoxy section is a perfect grey, granite stone “moon”.
This clock features custom Godwood "flame" shaped, black clock hands and a flame painted, baren solid coper wire bonsai tree growing out of the top right corner. Flame painting is a unique art form that can take copper and transform it into a colorful masterpiece using a blowtorch to discolor the copper into many vibrant hues. Lastly, the tips of the branches are blackened using a liver of sulfur patina.
