This 10” round clock (11.5” wide including the tree) is made from a couple slices of a dark green stone which happens to be from the same stone used to make my first clock, years ago. Cast into a dark grey/black swirling epoxy, this clock pays tribute to the long tradition of epoxy river tables. I experimented with creating a more matte finish with this clock.
This clock features my custom Godwood "flame" shaped copper hands and diamond stylized copper numbers at 12, 3 and 6, all with a natural green/blue patina. A solid copper bonsai tree wraps around the left side with blue/green patina on the baren branches which wander off the left most side.
